My husband and I have just returned from a week's stay at Enorme Armonia Hotel. From the moment we arrived at reception and were shown to our apartment by the receptionist, we were treated with every couteousy. Since we arrived late and had missed dinner, we were given sandwiches. Our apartment was at the back of the hotel beside the dining room although very little noise penetrated our room. We were only steps away from the beach where there were plenty of sunbeds available. There was a comfortable pool area with a pool bar although we spent most time on the beach. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and cleaned every day.
The dining area and staff were welcoming and both breakfast and dinner were very good and had good variety.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I would recommend it.
Best hotel in Town!
Our flight was delayed three hours and we ended up arriving at around 2.30am in the morning. There had also been an earlier flight cancelled and people from that flight were put up in this hotel, so on arrival our room was occupied. We were offered a glass of champagne and taken over to the posh side - their sister hotel the Enorme Lifestyle! We were given a sandwich and drink but we were shattered and just wanted our bed. The room we were given was beautiful, large, modern with coffee machine, two balconies and a living area plus a gorgeous bathroom. We ate in the Lifestyle for breakfast and our bags were taken over to the Armonia. There is literally a long path between the two however, the lifestyle has swim up pools, private sunbeds etc. I think there is some confusion when writing reviews on Tripadvisor as a few appear to be for the lifestyle. The Enorme and it's staff are just lovely. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We were told we would be upgraded to a triple room for the inconvenience and I'm glad we were - the rooms are tiny. Very clean and good bed linen, only one coffee sachet though and no milk or coffee machine, ha! Nice touch with the bottle of champagne sent up to our room on the second day though - went down a treat!! I feel our one day stopover in the Lifestyle somewhat spoilt us slightly from fully enjoying the Armonia. It is a lovely hotel, pools are gorgeous and clean and it's right on the beach. great sunbeds - all free. Food: a bit hit and miss. We found the Mediterranean night the best. The food is not very warm and some of the food is very, very salty. The resort is full of Russians and Germans so maybe it is more to their taste as I noticed a lot of other nationalities pouring salt on their food. This hotel, when we went, was mainly Russian and German which didn't bother us at all. It did make me laugh though when a waiter in another bar knew we were English as he said we were the only ones who said please and thank you!! The resort: we did go towards the end of September and we found it really quiet. Not many bars around and only a couple of restaurants. You may find it a bit livelier during the summer. Got the hop on hop off bus over the road from hotel, 15 euro each but ticket covers you for two days. Worth getting on a dull day and just listening to the commentary on the city of Heraklion. Very expensive here. I feel for the people of Crete, they have been hit hard with the economy problems and the old story of the all inclusive is probably drying up businesses. However, when visiting the few bars we found they were generally 8-9 euro for a gin and tonic and 6 euro for a beer which is a bit steep. Don't think I would come to this area again. I've seen it now and we did have a lovely, restful holiday. If you could pick up the Enorme and put it somewhere else I would definitely return. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
We spent one week at Enorme Beach hotel. We were satisfied with our stay. Good food, we got a nice clean room overlooking the sea. The staff was were nice and helpful. The pool area was nice and not crowded. Lennart Malmqvist
The best holidays ever!!!
From the welcome I felt like my home . A lovely girl her name is Aria always with smile. She is very kind helpful and very professional. The food is very nice and the beach wonderful. Around the area there are a lot of shops and restaurant. So if anybody wants quiet place in lovely hotel this is the perfect choice . Thank you for the nice stay. We will come back for sure.
Go here if you want to REALLY relax!!
This hotel itself is beautiful!! It's very modern and super swanky. Every single member of staff that we had the pleasure to be in contact with was absolutely amazing, they were so helpful, always smiley and polite and they all speak more than 1 language!! The pool area was perfect for relaxing with music by the pool bar. The beach was pristine with sunbeds and the fancy looking cushioned sunbeds, with showers on your way off the beach. You get a free 15 minute massage as a welcome gift, and it's so worth using. We wish we had gone for another one and paid for more, the prices were very reasonable! The area is lovely at night to walk around, it gets very busy in the evening and the whole street lights up with shops, bars and restaurants. We were half board, and I'm so glad we were. Their breakfasts and dinners were always super fresh foods (fruit, veg, salad) and there was always something for everyone!! 5* to the chef! It really was a lovely hotel with the nicest members of staff!! The only one tiny downside was the loud fridge in the room, but that's fine if you just unplug it in the night! 100% would recommend to anyone wanting a chilled out, super easy holiday!
It was my best holidays ever!Thank you for the lovely stay.I would recommend this hotel if you want a lovely quiet place. The beach is very nice and you can find many shops and restaurants around. The location is wonderful and the reception staff is the number one.See you soon!!
Just home from a fabulous week at this gorgeous hotel. The accommodation is really high quality and the staff are all very friendly and seem to all work extremely hard. The hotel is spotlessly clean and daily room service keeps it immaculate.
The only slight negative was the food, and this was only on a personal level, as someone who eats very little meat there was not much vegetarian choice amongst the hot food on offer. Loads of lovely salad options though so I certainly didn’t go hungry.
Great location with good transport links into Heraklion and to Knossos. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing laid back beach holiday.
A perfect holiday place!!!
We stayed in this hotel for one week in June. The hotel is really beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was rather small, yet extremely clean and we used it only for sleep and shower as we spent all our days on the beach . Also, the food in the restaurant was tasty (especially the mexican) and the snacks worth every cent!
We managed to explore the island (perfect instructions by the reception staff :-).
We visited Spinalonga,Plaka, Agios Nikolaos, Chania, Elafonisi and, of course, Santorini!
We definately recommend it and will visit it again!
