Great hotel, the rooms were clean and had a small balcony with seats and a table. It is in a good location; about 5 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins to Magaluf and less than 10 mins to Palmanova centre. Everything you need is on the doorstep. The pool was nice and they have really comfy double beds as well as loungers! Breakfast is a buffet with a wide range of food- continental, fried eggs, bacon, toast, hot drinks and juices, croissants, cereal. Overall a very good value hotel.
Short but enjoyable
We booked a couples 4 day getaway at the Lively and in all the hotel is very clean, great staff, hotel breakfast was good and different buffet every day. Pool was clean too. The only issue with this hotel is the age group, 80% of the guest are very young 18 +... we had a few issues with noise.. we brought it to the attention of the front desk ( Victoria and Mirco ) and I have to say they handled it immediately! Problem was handled and they would ask for updates if all was okay. They are super sweet, professional and made our stay pleasurable and we would definitely go back. Thank you Victoria and Mirco you guys are amazing.
Not bad at all
Just back here from a weekend stay for a hen do. There was 17 of us. Have to say reading all the bad reviews we were all really apprehensive about staying. But they aren’t that bad at all. The rooms aren’t the nicest but they are clean and cleaned every day with fresh towels. I think people exaggerate with the noise. It’s not that noisy. It’s magaluf people! The €100 deposit for the room is a bit of a joke. But they do give you a form to fill out and make sure you write everything down that is wrong with the room, that way you won’t get charged. We didn’t have breakfast but there is a pub round the corner and the food was good. It’s about a 15 minuet walk from the magaluf strip. If your using this hotel as a base then it’s totally fine. We were on a hen do and it was fine for a few days.
Cheap and cheerful, I would stay here again!!
I went on holiday with 2 friends and we are all 25, I read all the reviews before coming to this hotel and was abit worried that I would hate it but was actually surprised how decent it was. The receptionists were very nice and welcoming and one night we lost our friend who had the room key so they gave us a new one free of charge (they only charge you if you have lost the key which is around €20-30). The rooms are very outdated but clean and all you do is sleep in there or if your one to party every night youll hardley sleep there at all. The bathrooms are probably the worst part of the hotel the walls did have holes in and had been plasted up, the bath was rusting away and the shower curtain was stained beyond repair, however the towels were clean and there was always hot water so this didnt bother me. There is a fridge in the room which is really nice and cold to keep your drinks in and the aircon was really good too.
The pool area is fantastic and because it is a party type of hotel nobody was ever around the pool area before 12 it was very quiet considering it was sold out, the pool only picked up around 4/5pm. The drinks and food at the bar are cheap and pretty decent, however you arent aloud your own food or drink near the pool if you want away around this i just took the empty water bottles i got from the bar and filled them up with my own water that i had bought in bulk from a local supermarket. Breakfast is included and its not luxury but it is pretty decent and there is a good selection of english breakfast foods like sausages, beans, eggs, bacon etc again it was dead when i went in there so theres no mad rush which was nice. When staying hear do not expect luxury and peace and quiet it is a hotel designed for young people and it was noisy sometimes but not unbearable, there is also a security person who stands in reception encase you need to report any really bad behaviour.
P.s its also in a great location.
Fab hotel, great location, shame about the food
Just back home from our 5 night stay at this fab hotel! When we first arrived our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait an hour for it to get cleaned. Quiet annoying as we arrived at 12.30pm so you would think it would be ready. When we got into the room all I can say it WOW!! It’s recently had a refurb and it is absolutely beautiful! Room sizes are massive and the bathroom is lovely with walk in showers!! The location is great 10 min walk to Palma Nova and 25 min to Magaluf. The staff are polite and receptionists are very helpful. The animation team are amazing getting everyone dancing! The new British girl ( sorry didn’t catch her name) who has only been there a few weeks was amazing and so lovely to chat too!! . Now I wouldn’t normally complain about a holiday as i hate reading reviews that complain but I have to say the food is really not good. Breakfast is great full cooked breakfast, pastries and loads of fruit! Snacks are great fried chicken, pizza, chips and salad. But lunch and evening meal are just a no. There isn’t very much choice and they don’t seem to cater for the British. Pasta every night chips they did lots of meats and fish that I wasn’t familiar with. I think if they just added another row of food and did some meats such as lamb or chicken etc then I feel at lot more British people would eat in as when we were there we were one of the many couples that left the hotel at night to eat out. All in all I would still return to the hotel as everything is fab but I wish they would just change up the food :)
Mallorca is an island of contrasts. Considered by many as one of the most beautiful places in Spain, the island is a place where to get lost and live a unique experience. The 550 kilometres of coastline is home to everything from long beaches of white and ochre sand in the south-east, with full amenities and services, to the hidden coves in the north, marvellous beauty spots for the more adventurous visitor.
The island is rich in culture and activities, so you won’t be short of things to see and do while you are here. There are many different international festivals of classical music, jazz, pop, and rock. All this and more can be experienced with a visit to one of many cultural events.
Activities like crazy golf, tree top adventure, paintballing and go-karting are some of the most popular. Perhaps you would be tempted by with some rock climbing, coasteering or mountain biking.
Spending one or two days discovering Palma de Mallorca is a must when visiting Mallorca. You can also go on a tour of a distinctive City Sightseeing open-top bus, which gives you a great overview of Mallorca’s capital.
With 262 beaches around the island, Mallorca is a paradise for the sun, sand, and sea lover. Long sandy beaches can be found on all the coasts except for the west, which is dominated by cliffs and rocky coves. For pretty sandy coves with sparkling seas, head to the east coast.
Stroll around one of Mallorca’s beautiful small villages and you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Try the legendary towns of Deià and Valldemossa, hidden in the hills of the Tramuntana mountain. Sóller has amazing architectural gems and a rich history.
