A Sublime Week of Relaxation
We fell in love with this place as soon as we arrived from the airport, a 30 minute drive along the East coast of the island via the hotel provided pickup service. Arrived early, around 7 AM since we had an aborted flight from ATH to CFU the night before (due to unusually severe weather) and had a very early flight the following morning. Nonetheless, we were greeted personally by the hotel manager (who had been in contact with us throughout) and the staff that went out of their way to make us comfortable after a sleepless night in Athens. A friendly staff member brought us to our suite via golf cart while we enjoyed the views and the now perfect weather. We were treated to a plentiful breakfast in our room. After a quick jacuzzi, it was time to catch up on some sleep, with all 3 glass double doors fully open to the terrace, the breeze and the sea. It felt like sleeping outside!
The suite was located about 200 meters above the water: large and airy, immaculately clean, with a private hot tub, huge balcony, free standing bathtub, super comfortable king size bed and all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star accommodation (even had an iron/board which is rare in Europe unless you ask:-)). We had reserved the suite with the grand terrace. I recommend when you book, you request the one with maximum privacy (the website has floor plans and you can see where the hot tub is located: we were in room 110). In addition, if you can, I highly recommend a package deal which we took advantage of, which includes all sorts of amenities like 3 day car rental, a bottle of wine nightly (we got fresh juices instead since we are not drinkers), etc.
The property has one of the most gorgeous infinity pools, well-maintained landscape. For those of us up in years :-), the adults only aspect certainly contributed to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Because of the great water views from every room, the rooms are situated along a path that winds its way up the hill. If you are near or at the top, the 10 min walk is a little steep (hence the ever present golf carts). Two restaurants (one a plentiful buffet style which we tried (excellent), the other gourmet a la carte). Nice umbrella lounge chairs on the water (a few steps from the entrance).
On a practical level, there is a a charming taverna and a mini market a few steps next door. There is a bus station right in front that can take you to Corfu City in about 30-35 minutes (about 2€). It runs about once every hour until 21:30 or so. Taxis are around 35€ and take the same amount of time. You have to order one (there are none near the property). The service was always prompt, warm and friendly and everyone speaks perfect English.
A relaxing week that I will cherish. Definitely coming back at some point.
My partner's and I holidayed at the Marbella Nido from arriving at this amazing resort to when we left all I have is praise for the manager and her team they were most accommodating pleasant polite the list goes on. Week worth a visit
Fabulous hotel with great staff.
My wife and I tool a short break at this hotel at the end of the summer season. I have to say the staff were outstanding, they were friendly and extremely helpful.
Our room was a good size, well decorated and equipped with a fantastic view over the sea. The hotel is built on the side of a steep hill but if you don’t fancy the exercise someone is always there to drive you up and down the resort in a buggy.
Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style with the daily variety and quality of the food was really very good indeed. Service in the restaurant was also excellent.
Around the pool the staff would pop around in the morning with a free fruit drink and some nibbles which was a nice gesture. The only negative I have was the pool was a little on the cold side for me but, I guess it was end of season.
All in all a fantastic experience which exceeded all my expectations.
Absolute perfection from arrival to departure.
This was honestly the best hotel experience we have ever had. We arrived very late due to flight delays and were tired, but the sight of this beautiful hotel soon woke us up and attracted envious stares from the others on our transfer coach! We were warmly welcomed and given delicious complimentary drinks which were handmade in the beautiful bar area while our bags were taken to our room. Despite it being almost 11pm, we did not feel rushed and were encouraged to relax, enjoy our drinks and collect our room keys when we were ready to do so.
We were then shown around by one of the many very friendly and helpful porters from the comfort of a buggy, and then escorted to our room (228) which had breathtaking views of the ocean. There was also a letter from the manager waiting for us by the complimentary wine and biscuits; all of which were really very appreciated.
During our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping came by twice a day: once in the morning to thoroughly clean and then again in the afternoon to make sure we had everything we needed (refill of Nespresso pods, clean towels, little chocolates, bottles of water and minibar refill if needed). The cheerful porters in the buggies always stopped to wish us a good day and if we needed a lift up the hill to our room - or back down again to the restaurant. We stayed on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner) and the food was absolutely delicious with an excellent variety to choose from. It is served as a buffet but continuously replenished and the waiting staff were all extremely friendly, professional and hard-working. We indulged in a spa treatment, which was very enjoyable and relaxing in a beautiful environment - highly recommended! Two days before we left, we received a hand-written note reminding us of our departure time, and also received another letter from the manager personally hoping we had an enjoyable stay on departure day, as well as a leaving gift. All of which we thought was a lovely, personal touch that we appreciated.
Our expectations were not only met but far, far exceeded. We had the most wonderful stay and honestly didn't want to return home. It's not often you find a hotel where not only high professional standards are met across the board, but general morale is consistently high and I think that is a testament to the clearly excellent management at MarBella Nido. Thank you everyone who made our short stay so relaxing and enjoyable. You make this hotel a very special place and we are already planning our return visit!
The best hotel we've ever stayed in!
This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in! From start to finish, everything was wonderful - the hotel, the location, the service, the attention to detail, the thoughtfulness and consideration of all of the staff, We were given a lovely welcome on arrival with complimentary drinks, a bottle of wine and little biscuits/cakes, rooms were cleaned daily and we were supplied with mineral water and little chocolates every day. The views of the Ionian Sea were amazing. The hotel itself is so elegant and stylish. There was a great jazz band on one evening and a brilliant classical guitarist on one morning during breakfast. We stayed on a half board basis and both the breakfast and evening buffet were excellent with lots of choice and fresh options. We were very happy and relaxed during our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Myself, my Husband and two adults daughters have just returned from 6 day stay at this hotel and we all said it was too short a stay! ALL of the staff went beyond the normal 5 star service, the food was exceptionally good for a buffet style even for my daughter who is gluten intolerant and only eats fish or chicken there was always a choice for her to eat every night. The rooms were large and spacious with great balconies that looked out to sea. A great taverna just across the road for lovely lunches right next to the sun lounges and beach. The only draw back of this hotel is if your challenged with your walking as everything is uphill and up steps but there are little golf buggies that can take you from Reception to almost your room but there are still steep steps involved.
More than expected!
I’d never been to Greece and I’d seen all these great reviews on the hotel, so my expectations were high. They were met and far surpassed. Yes, all the reviews that said how wonderful the staff is are correct! They were always pleasant, willing to help, friendly and take pride in providing immediate and attentive service. Check in began with refreshing drinks as they whisked my bags to my room without my knowledge. The drinks were followed by a guided tour by the front desk. By the end of my stay (10 days), I was truly spoiled by these wonderful people! Of note, the bellmen- Kronos & Theadore, breakfast hostess Joanna, the omelet station manager, the room service server and last but definitely not least the front desk manager (sorry that I forgot the tall man’s name) as he was very kind and helpful and I did not have a chance to thank him properly. I had a room with a pool, which I loved! And the view, there are no words that can express how gorgeous the view of the Ioanion sea- it was spectacular at every time of day and I could have sat and enjoyed it for another 10 days!
Smart Adults only piece of Paradise
This hotel is only 30 minutes from the airport which you can easily reach by bus. However we chose private transfers booked via the internet. After speaking to other guests the hotel will arrange transfers for you for 70 Euros return. This was cheaper than I paid so well worth sending them an email.
We stayed in room 110 and it was lovely. Well designed and well equipped. We had a whirlpool which I used most days. The sun stayed on our terrace until around 2pm so it was great for us. We would then go to the pool bar and meet friends and enjoy the rest of the day there. We never struggled to find sun beds as they were plentiful.
Great service, great selection of drinks and meals at the pool bar and main restaurant. Also very reasonable, cocktails were 8 Euro’s and very well made. Not sure about the wine but was told my friend was unlucky in her choice. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. We were half board and enjoyed a lovely evening meal every night. Also fab desserts. Either side of the hotel about 10 mins away by cab are restaurants and bars should you wish to venture outside.
The staff are very professional and I would say either well trained or have great experience in this industry as they were all VERY VERY GOOD.
Special thank you to Athina and the handsome guy at the pool bar. Slim no hair - sorry didn't get a name but he made a mean Bloody Mary which my husband described as perfect.
I would return in a heartbeat.
Thank you for making a well deserved holiday so special.

We stayed at MarBella Nido for 7 days for our summer holiday. This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, and our stay was perfect from start to finish.
We read the reviews on here before coming, and they were all great - but we were still blown away with how amazing it was.
From arriving at the hotel, the service was impeccable. While waiting to check in, we received a few welcome cocktails and fruit juices and cold facecloths to refresh ourselves after our flight.
Every single member of staff is so friendly, attentive and helpful, always trying to put a smile on your face and help in any way they can.
Our room was lovely. We stayed in room 321, which was right at the back - and the view over the ocean was incredible. The whirlpool was also a fantastic addition - we spent many evenings chilling in there with a few drinks, looking out over the ocean.
Breakfast was great - a huge selection that we never got bored of. We also got a freshly squeezed orange juice every morning which was lovely.
The pool area was our favourite part of the hotel. It’s beautiful, clean and so relaxing. The infinity pool has the most amazing view! The sun-loungers are very comfy, the music is great, and the food and drinks you can get here are delicious. Sometimes the bar staff even make refreshing frozen watermelon and mint drinks for everyone for free!
This is genuinely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, and will recommend it to anyone we know travelling to Corfu!
