Mon Repos Palace

We were lucky to spend 2 nights at either end of a fortnight in Corfu this year. We've stayed at Mon Repos several times over the last 2 years and love it. Lovely situation for a very speedy taxi ride to/from airport - this really maximises our time in Corfu! In our final evening we were out for dinner in Corfu town at 9:30pm and in our own bed in Somerset by 3am
The hotel is classy, sophisticated and has a lovely mix of clientele from many nationalities ( not too many English ). All the staff we spoke to were lovely and professional. On our first 2 night stay we were lucky to have room 411 which had a lovely big balcony with deck chairs and view of the Royal Baths & on the 2nd 2 night stay we had 408 which has a lovely view of the old town and fortress - thank you so much for giving us these top floor rooms, we really appreciate it

The hotel is in a great position to either walk into town (20 mins) or to get on the bus which does a circular route from Kanoni to Corfu town every 20 mins and is only 1.70 euros. The Royal Baths is a lovely beach to spend time swimming/sunbathing (only 10 euros for 2 sunbeds/parasol and 2 bottles of water - also great friendly waiter service).

Also close by is Mon Repos house and grounds - lovely to walk around - feels like your in the countryside/woods - there is a lovely beach are with jetty which is beautiful).

Ok so the bathrooms could do with an upgrade at some point but the rooms are really clean so this doesn't affect my enjoyment.

*The only issue I can think of is that in room 408 the double glazing on one of the doors has condensation though so does affect the view slightly.

Everything else is lovely and so are the staff.

We stayed here in June of 2018 for 12 days. the hotel has a good ambience and the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was of good size and had a small balcony with a side view of the sea.It was very clean. Breakfast was a large and varied spread of cold and cooked options, all of a good standard. This is an adults only hotel! The town centre of Corfu is around 25 minutes walk along the seashore. There are numerous restaurants set back around 50 metres in a wooded area along this route. The swimming pool is not large but was also never crowded at any time during our stay. Within 100 metres is a private beach which can be accessed for 10 euros a day for two sun beds and a parasol and also includes a large bottle of fridge cold mineral water. There is good swimming here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

The hotel is about a 25 minutes stroll from corfu town, and its a nice walk along the coast. The public areas of the hotel are very comfortable and spotlessly clean, staff are also very helpful and friendly. The pool area is also well kept, its quite small with only 12 sunbeds, we were lucky the week we were there as people did not hog the beds all day and towels are available from reception. Breakfast is really well organised and there is a huge choice available to cater for everyone and it is quickly topped up. We had a sea view room and it was lovely to sit and watch the world go by, the hotel is on a main road so it can be quite noisy but it did not bother us. The room was very nice, spacious and clean but the bathroom could have done with a bit of an update as is was very small and quite dated. Bedding and towels were changed everyday which is just as well as the towels had definately seen better days.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were immediately greeted with a complementary cocktail and a cold towel upon arriving at the property. Room was clean and had a nice partial view of the water from our private balcony. The location is also very convenient. It's a very nice 15-20 minute walk along the bay to get into town. We opted to walk instead of taking a taxi every time. I'd definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful week here got home today! - spent a few days on my own and then my husband joined me for a couple of days. The staff here are amazing - so kind and attentive - I can’t praise them enough!! The hotel itself is well-appointed and clean, my room was comfortable ant the view over Garitsa Bay and the Fort was stunning. It is a 20 minute walk into Corfu town itself which suited me perfectly and whilst the pool was small, it was ideal for cooling off in the heat..! The Mon Repos beach was literally 2 mins away and a lovely place to spend the day.

We had a week in the Mon Repos Palace and can thoroughly recommend it. The location is around the bay around 1.5k from the town centre. Along the way there are a number of tavernas and bars, which are very reasonable and serve good food and drinks. The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were smallish but adequate. There is only a small swimming pool and very few beds at the hotel which got taken early each day. However, just around the road is a fabulous beach village. Sunbeds and parasols cost 10 euro per day for 2. You also get a bottle of water free. In the village you can relax on the beach, by the sea, buy a drink or get some lunch. Fabulous!
Breakfast was really comprehensive and delicious. We had half board and the evening buffet served varied food, both local and international. The hotel is minutes from the airport so transfers are really quick. Rally enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at many hotels in corfu but this is our favourite

The hotel is reasonably new so the rooms are comfortable and stylish

The location is a 20 min walk from corfu town and there is a bus going into corfu town and to kanoni ( mouse island and up the top of the hill for a view over the planes). Just ask reception where the bus stop is

There are so very many fantastic restaurants both on the ocean front and under the beautiful gum trees and they are all within a short walk from the hotel

The hotel itself has a great restaurant with entertainment on many nights of the week

There are no children so it’s so very quiet and relaxing and breakfast is bliss

The staff are the best feature of this wonderful hotel. The breakfast and restaurant manager is amazing being so friendly and helpful

The front desk staff care to help in every way and Thalia is a delight

You can swim in the small pool or the beach across the road

The room rates are a little high but so are many lower class competitors so this is the best for location and comfort

It’s a 10 min drive to the airport and taxi fare is between 12 and 15 euro

We are returning again in August and our friends are also

Great hotel with such an amazing, professional and pleasant team, including also perfect location and sea views. We will absolutely remember our stay and those tasty mornings! Exquisite hotel! Already waiting revisiting!

A lovely hotel. The staff are excellant they look after you so well and are very friendly and efficient. Waited on hand and foot in restaurant. Room cleaned Towels and bedding changed daily.Food is very good. Would definatly stay there again.

My wife & I stayed for 4 nights in early June and were very pleased with our choice of hotel in what appeared to be a great location on the outskirts of the lovely Corfu Town. The sea view from our balcony was delightful. We were situated above the small swimming pool/sunbathing area, with the waterfront just across the road to our left. We were also entertained by the storks on the wooded rocky peninsular opposite! Our room was not the largest, but clean & comfortable, with good facilities - including a tea/coffee tray and fridge which contained complimentary mineral water. We enjoyed breakfast each morning - with a good choice of juices, fruit and yoghurt, plus plentiful hot and cold main dishes, etc. and service was very good. We spent a few hours each afternoon in the sunbathing area, which was better than expected. Previous reports had led us to believe that the pool was virtually a waste of time, but it was ideal for us for a safe, relaxing short swim in the hot afternoons and the sun-beds were comfortable. The walk into town via the garden/park area opposite the waterfront was most enjoyable - a lovely 25 minute leisurely stroll, with lots of shade and stunning views. We'd stay here again if we returned to this beautiful town.
