One week of luxury getaway

5/5 - February, 2019 Tripadvisor.com

My wife and I stayed at this amazing resort at the end of the season in 2018.
As we have stayed here before - we knew what to expect, and our expectations were met! The staff is very professional and we felt welcome the whole time.

We loved the service before we even arrived as they also contacted us, asking if they could prearrange anything for us before arrival. Lovely!

The included breakfast was a delight, and a good way to start each day.
A final thing to mention was the pub/streetfood we had a couple of days in the Sketch Bar - and in particular the gyros was very very good.

We will be back!

Practically perfect

4/5 - November, 2018 Tripadvisor.com

We spent a week here for our anniversary, and I would definitely recommend the hotel as a quite relaxing venue.
There was a problem with overbooking so we had an upgrade on our first night, which was actually a nuisance as we had to move rooms the next day after noon. The hotel made up for it with a free dinner. It did give us a chance to see the better room, and actually I wouldn't recommend spending the extra. The pool in the junior suite was slightly wider, as the upgraded room uses some of the pool space to create a pathway alongside it. The only other differences was the space in the bedroom and the layout of the bathroom, although the higher rooms afford more privacy as you have less people looking down on you. That said, the patio is covered partially so it isn't intrusive by any means.
The bar was superb, the staff there are excellent and make cocktails to perfection. They couldn't be more friendly. The food in the restaurant is good, although if you want to try local greek food I would go somewhere else to do it as the hotel food was more fusion in my view. We especially enjoyed the New York buffet. Each evening there is live music. The talent was evident, my favourite was the jazz saxophone evening. Tuesday was the only night I wouldn't recommend the restaurant as the musician was really loud and not particularly good. It was the only night we could hear it from our room.
The outdoor pool is actually big enough to swim in, which is rare for a hotel! I loved swimming in it. There was an indoor heated pool but it was much to hot to venture down there!
The girls in the Spa (Marina and Joanna) gave us excellent massages during our stay and helped us relax. The spa offers a wide range of services so there is something for everyone. My husband doesn't normally like massages, but it was him who suggested we go back a second time.
Nearby there are lots of traditional restaurants within walking distance, and watersports. For a short drive you can also find lots more on the coast road to Lindos.
This hotel is practically perfect, reception is the only flaw I could see. The staff are very friendly and provide and excellent service but they seem under a lot of pressure compared to the staff in other parts of the hotel.

Fabulous Adult Only Hotel

A very peaceful holiday, with staff who really seemed to care. Very nice rooms and excellent food. End of season, so whole resort was very quiet and weather not 100%, but a good holiday non- the -less. If you want to chill out, this is a great place to do so. Spa was also lovely.

Another wonderful stay

Sometimes a second visit pales by comparison: not so with Boutique 5. 5* trip once again. The rooms were equally as good as was the food. As before, the staff were outstanding, Hard working, professional, friendly, attentive and nothing too much trouble...and all with a smile.

Unfortunately, the room pool had some tiles missing, as was the case with last year’s room pool.

The Spa (franchised, I believe) is unfortunately doing itself out of business by its high prices.

It would be nice if there was a loyalty programme as this place deserves repeat visitors.

Perfection in every way

Boutique 5 is a genuine five star hotel, which already makes it better than most top rated hotels here on Tripadvisor. But even for five star hotels, Boutique 5 is in a class of its own.

It is an uncrowded hotel, and the perfect place for luxury and relaxation, with spacious rooms, cleaning twice a day, lots of attention to details (the best beds and pillows we have yet encountered, bottled water delivered daily, a couple of rolls of toilet paper daily, roses, chocolate, etc.)

One of us is disabled, and the staff would be there to help even before we could think to ask. The other had a birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised us with a wonderful birthday cake delivered to our room.

Our stay at Boutique 5 was one of our best vacations ever. The staff, the room, the food, the pool, the beach; every thing utmost perfect.

Special thanks go to Mika, Dora and Theodora who each in their own way helped make our stay a wonderful and personal experience, but also to the rest of the wonderful staff.

Relaxing intimate hotel

My husband found this hotel by researching adult only, 5* hotels, it was a surprise to me for our 20th wedding anniversary, I was more than pleased with his choice. The hotel is stunning, right from the drive up the hill it looks very impressive, we were greeted by Dimitri who took our luggage discreetly to our room while we had a complimentary drink served by a very friendly Ari. Our room (325, superior deluxe, no pool) was luxurious and spotlessly clean, the bed was huge, we had a pillow menu, the bathroom immaculate with bath and shower and toiletries. My husband had been in touch with a very helpful Mika to arrange flowers for me, she also added a cake, fresh fruit and wine. Fabulous sea view, road in front of our balcony was quiet and didn't disturb us at all. Maid service twice a day, little chocolates or biscuits left on your pillow in the evening and a pretty shape made with my nightie! You can check your bar & restaurant bill on your room TV as well the local weather - the TV greeted you by name when you turned it on!
Breakfast was fabulous, I'd have this three times a day if I could, a chef cooks eggs to order to serve with bacon, sausages etc, fresh fruit, cereals, nuts, grains, pastries, breads, smoothies, fresh juice, sparkling wine and more. The waiters see to you the minute you sit down, my husband always ordered a decaf latte (delicious) and within 2x days the waiters (George, Marinos) knew to bring him 3x over the course of the sitting.
The pool area is very quiet but was too hot to sit by so we spent days on the private beach - changing cubicle, showers and toilets were very clean, sunbeds very comfortable, Diagoras is very attentive and is running back and forth to the hotel collecting cocktails and food orders. The beach is all pebbles and the sea crystal clear, the many colours of the pebbles are stunning albeit arduous to walk on, definitely take beach shoes. There was a wedding one afternoon on the beach, lovely to sit with a glass of wine watching the ceremony.
You receive a 15x minute voucher for the spa (again the finish in here was stunning), we used ours as a discount on a couples neck, back and head massage, the two small framed girls were very thorough and loosened up all the knotted areas we had and then gave us recommendations for further treatments to compliment what we'd had done.
Kiotari is a quiet area, with a few restaurants and an amazing cocktail bar - Lythos, less than 10x minutes walk from hotel, you must visit 'crazy' George for lunch at the South Castle on the beach, he's very friendly, chaotic and has a story about everything, a refreshing break from the formality of the hotel. We got on a bus to Pefkos took approx 20x minutes, costs less than €3, the buses are approx every half hour, the bus stops have a timetable or get one from hotel reception. We also hired a moped and quad bike from the nearest rental shop (on the same road as the hotel, less than 5x minute walk), very reasonably priced (moped €23/day), we explored south of Kiotari and was amazed at Prasonissi where the Med and the Aegean meet and also went west to Monolithos Castle and Fournas beach - this side of the island is unspoilt with stunning beaches and views.
The only negative point was the coach transfer, by the time we'd dropped off in Lindos & Pefkos and some Kiotari hotels we were last making it a 2hr 20min trip arriving at 00:30am, I think Jet 2 are offering a private transfer in 2019.
Overall this hotel is made so special by the staff that work there, as everyone says in previous reviews, they work very hard and are very welcoming and friendly, we would love to return in the future for a purely relaxing holiday.
thanks to you all Julie and Greg

Great Place to spend a week doing nothing!

The hotel was superb in every way. All the staff are terrific and the rooms are large and well furnished with balconies (from most rooms) overlook a wide expanse of the sea. The beach is a stone's throw away and has sunbeds and umbrellas for the hotels guests. Food & drink is available on the beach to save you going back to the hotel for refreshments. Kaotari is a good hours drive from the airport (in a Private Taxi) and it seems that most flights from all countries get in quite late but the hotel staff ensure you are settled quickly with towels, food & drink before going to your room. Food is OK but it is always a personal item to discuss because what is good for some people is not, necessarily good for others. We found it acceptable without being inspiring. The major plus to this hotel are the staff from Reception to breakfast to beach and on to dinner. I can honestly say that there was not one member of staff that didn't have a smile and a wish to be of service to the guests, they were incredible and memorable (there are too many to name because that would detract from all the one's that are not named). In conclusion, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and would return in a heartbeat.

A lovely hotel...recommended.

Boutique 5 hotel is truly 5 star.... It offers luxury without being too ''sugary''...The main attraction is the quiet and privacy, and like minded guests......There is no rushing to the pool side to ''book'' a sun lounger before the Germans take them all....No one rushes anywhere...There is plenty of room for all and amenities to match...The beach is quiet and secluded and not full of mechanical toys........Very pleasant beach with nice cool water...Uninterrupted view of the sea from practically everywhere.......The Architecture and decor are great.

Wow. Total Perfection.

We’ve just got home from a week at Boutique 5 and will definitely be returning.
This is the only 5 star hotel we’ve been to that really is 5 star.
From the chic style of the place, the cleanliness, the stunning location and the beautiful room, I can’t fault the hotel.
We had a junior suite facing the sea with a private pool. It was immaculate, stylish and had everything we needed and the cleaner came a couple of times a day to stock us up.
The breakfast was superb, varied and nothing too much trouble.
All the staff were so lovely, friendly and chatty without being pushy and we always felt very welcome.
The beach is beautiful and the sea perfect for swimming. There is never a race for sunbeds as despite being full the hotel never feels busy. Many seemed to stay in their private pools.
Diagoras looked after us all day every day at the beach and was truly brilliant.
With its spa feel, this is the place to come if you want pure luxury and peace. It’s not somewhere for those looking for activities, or who need lots of entertaining.
Being vegetarian the a la carte menu in the evening restaurant was very limited for us so we ate at a number of fantastic local restaurants in Lardos or Kiotari which were a short taxi ride away.
Our room was a 2 minute walk to the beach, the restaurant or the main pool, so everything was very accessible.
A perfect week of luxurious peace and quiet!

Quiet, chilled

We had a fab time in Rhodes at Boutique5 adults only hotel

Flights and transfers effortless. V hot but nice sea breeze. Hotel excellent. Staff excellent. Great to be by beach as spent a lot of time in sea! Pebble beach but fine with beach shoes for swimming.

Breakfasts were of a high standard. We only had one evening meal in restaurant which was good . We got feedback from people there half board who said choice a bit limited. Every night a soup starter which Is not really ideal when temperatures so high! Think if you are there for more than a week would recommend b n b and to hire a car.

Rooms very spacious and very comfortable beds with pillow menu. Diptique toiletries.

We were in upper level...better for views of sea. Those lower down with pools, some had restricted sea views. Didn't miss room pool as spent all time on beach. Limited sunbeds by main pool but no pre-laying of towels. Plenty of comfy sunbeds on beach with towel and drinks service if wanted. Showers, changing cubicle and toilets all on beach

Fantastic little taverna - South Castle Restaurant 100 metres up beach with good simple Greek food. George is a great host!We ate there every day! A couple of nice restaurants in town. But limited choice. Lindos has more to choose from.

Enjoyed a boat trip over to Lindos with a swim stop. 2 hour round trip 25€ per head.

All in all a great relaxing break in a lovely quiet chilled hotel. Would recommend but probably wouldn't return as we like to try new places.

A special mention to Ari who makes the best margaritas and the breakfast staff Theadora and Diane. ευχαριστώ

Only negative - the metal chairs on the verandas and metal sofas by the pool are very uncomfortable. Sun loungers on veranda would be more appropriate. This is a minor niggle.
