Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel

Our first holiday to Lindos Blu was in 2017 and we had such a perfect time we decided to book again for this year 2018 and I'm so pleased we did. This is the first time we have booked the same hotel two years on the run and I did wonder have we made the right decision, would it be just as good as last time ? Well I had no need to worry it was so nice being welcomed back to the hotel, we had a Junior Suit again it was lovely to see the room had been upgraded since we had last been, electric curtains, new table and chairs, new bedding and sofa covers. The level of service was amazing and the hotel was spotless just as before, I really couldn't fault the place. I think what we love the most about Lindos Blu is how relaxing we find the hotel, loads of different places to sit and relax, the wonderful views you get looking out of the hotel and the feeling of calm, yet fun, sunny days ahead of you. I would like to thank all of the staff for all of their wonderful hard work again, nothing is too much trouble for them. I would personally like to thank Tsampika for finding us just the right table for us, when we went this year we had a few very windy evenings which made eating outside quite tricky !! Also Eleni for help with booking our room and booking meals out, thank you. We also booked into the Spa this year I can highly recommend you do this, it was one of the best back massages I have ever had. It goes without saying the food was amazing be it at breakfast or evening meals. I know will we definitely book this exceptional hotel again in the near future.

If you like contemporary hotels, with excellent service and food, amazing views and be treated like a VIP then this is the place to visit. The evening meal was part buffet, part waiter service which worked really well. There was often live music to accompany the evening meal which added to the ambience. The bar upstairs was a little quiet, however, keep an eye out for the tribute bands at their sister hotel next door if you want something more lively. I can definitely say that we will be returning in the future and that's not something we say very often!

It is a testimony to the excellence of Lindos Blu that so many people (like ourselves) return year after year to this wonderful hotel. The recent refurbishment is a complete success,the rooms are cleaner and more welcoming than ever. The extras that have been added, like an overflowing ice bucket and a litre of water delivered free to the beach beds every day, the water delivered to your room each night by the turndown service, the blue flag status of the private beach, all serve to make the holiday perfect. The staff are as friendly and professional as ever, the food is excellent and we have already booked to return again next year.

We stayed in September. The hotel is about 45 mins transfer time from the airport. Upon arrival we were shown to our room and were pleased to know that room service & light bar meals were available considering it was nearly midnight.

Our room was lovely and all rooms have good views overlooking the bay. The hotel is on a step slope, but that doesn't cause issues as there are a number of connecting lifts within the hotel and grounds down towards the beach. There is also a buggy service if you don't want to walk.

The beach is nice and bar / good food service available. The sea was very calm most days during our visit and excellent for swimming. There was always sun loungers available within the hotel's beach area, but some fellow guests were sometimes unsocialable by 'claiming' sun loungers in the best position and then only using them for a small part of the day. It would be good if the hotel took action to prevent this.

The hotel breakfast was top quality with a huge choice and amazing service. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurants as we like to explore, but they looked very nice and had good menus. We ate at one nearby restaurant and otherwise got a taxi into Lindos town each night. That was 8 EUR going and 6 EUR back and took about 10 mins. You could walk once the sun had gone down, but the road is step up and down & very busy and the local bus service didn't look very frequent and doesn't go right into Lindos town, but remains on the main road past Lindos - hence we didn't use this and used taxis.

Within Lindos there is a great choice of restaurants serving traditional greek food and bars.

The swimming pool at the hotel again had lovely views and was great for relaxing. There was also a roof terrace in the hotel, which was good, but a little hot when we were there due to limited breeze. But this would have been a good option if you experienced any colder / cloudy weather.

Thoroughly recommend the hotel.

The difference between this being a very good hotel to one of the best in Europe is undoubtably the staff. We have travelled quite extensively and stayed in some wonderful hotels but only one other hotel comes anywhere close to the Lindos Blu. At the risk of repeating other reviewers, nothing is too much trouble for them, which is a great testament to the management of the hotel. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with great views.

The hotel is set into the cliff so you do need to take four lifts from the top of the hotel plus a short walk to the beach. We loved the beach, there is plenty of shade, sun loungers and excellent safe swimming. We took our own paddle board and the sea conditions in the sheltered bay were generally perfect which allowed us to explore the immediate coast around the hotel. The beach staff are excellent and will happily take you back to the entrance to the hotel in a golf buggy at the end of the day which cuts out one lift and a walk.

When we booked half board it had been our intention to take some lunches and eat in Lindos in the evening, however the food was so good in the restaurant that we only ventured out on one evening. Our only suggestion, which we felt could make an improvement to the ambiance in the evening would be more Greek music rather than 60’s jazz, but we appreciate that is a matter of taste. We did enjoy the first music set by the duo with a guitar and double bass, playing some traditional Greek music.

A special mention to Erion at the beach and Eleni who went out of their way for us and made our stay special. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Recently stayed in the very well appointed Lindos Blu... what can I say other than absolutely magnificent!

Arriving at 11pm, we were greeted with a champagne drink in the bar whilst our luggage made its way to our room. When we were ready to retire to our room we were escorted by a member of the hotel staff who showed us all of the amenities both in the room and en route.

The double room was fantastic, incredible sea views and the decor was superb.

The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing and the pool facilities and private beach were sensational.

The restaurant was second to non and the service totally first class... it is clear to see how the reputation of this beautiful hotel is clearly growing.

I can honestly say I have never experienced such a superb all round hotel experience and cannot recommend this hotel enough, worth every penny!!

Well done to such a fantastic team and congratulations for all they are achieving but most of all thank you for a memorable holiday experience

The moment you step in the hotel you feel like a royal.People,rooms,views from rooms,fragrance in hallways will take you mind away.How can someone complain? Nice beach, nice pools,everywhere is very clean.You just step on the beach,server without asking brought water bottle with ice.They gave us all kind treats and welcoming bottle champagne.They are the best.People will do everything to make you feel happy.This place made our vacation unforgettable.Thank you everyone who is working there.

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in & as far as the service and staff are concerned it would be almost impossible to beat. Everyone of the staff without exception were professional, polite, friendly and genuinely interested in making sure that everything was perfect.
We sampled the "lobster " evening in the Five Senses restaurant and although expensive was worth doing not only for the gorgeous food but the overall experience. The staff were amazing.
Breakfast is comprehensive and the setting is wonderful.
We often ate in Lindos Town, where you are spoilt for choice there being dozens of good restaurants most of which have roof terraces with lovely views. It is a short taxi ride away (8.50 euro there & 6 euro back).but it is a pity that the hotel is on a busy road which makes it too dangerous to walk as there are no footpaths.
The private beach is ok but involves either taking 4 separate lifts or walking down (and back up!) a considerable number of steps. There is a buggy which will bring you part way back up to the hotel. There are no toilets on the beach so you have to use the facilities in the nearby Lindos Mare hotel. Beach towels have to be taken with you from your room as they are not provided at the beach. Beach staff are excellent.
The most outstanding thing about this hotel is the service provided by each and every member of staff. They are a credit to the hotel.
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a private shared pool (but there was no-one to share with!) but the rooms on the higher floors have better views.

Regarding the negative review i read about guests at the pool bar chatting boasting about 7/8/9 times returning to the Lindos Blu...saying how sad not to try other places in the world?....as we are one of the returning guests every year now for the past 7 or 8 yrs we make this our annual 2 week holiday & yes we do go to other beautiful places to try them, but Lindos Blu is our piece of Heaven & Tranquility after working hard the hotel & the wonderful staff make our stay as perfect as possible hence our return every year.

Modern Extremely Clean, breakfast is first class, close to Lindos village where there are lots of places to eat many with rooftop views.
The bar area has stunning views over the bay, i remember our first visit entering the hotel ..wow!...such an emotional experience.

We once again returned begining of september to be welcomed form everyone with open arms! so lovely, the greek hospitality is something we all should experience!
From the welcome drink, treats in the room ,housekeeping fantastic, i am very fussy wherever we go, but this hotel has it all for our holiday, feeling completely relaxed, so quiet & peaceful.

The few changes made ie: electronic curtains operated from bedside to the newly decorated rooms, one critisism for us would be a toilet at the smaller pool area, maybe slightly better music in bar area, but it has got slightly better over the years, sofas in bar area for us are not as comfortable as the past ones. .
The Beach Buggy is great too !

It would be unfair to forget to mention everyones names who all play a huge part to make our holiday just PERFECT! All credit to the management who expect high standards from staff , hence all the repeat guests.

Booked for next year ...we are never dissappointed ....just go see for yourself .

The hotel arranged complimentary arrival and departure taxis. A great way to start our holiday. On arrival at the hotel we were met by smiling and very kind staff with a cold flannel and welcome drink. A personal,guided tour round the hotel gave us a great feel of the hotel. Food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice and to die for desserts. Entertainment every few days in the restaurant was very good. A relaxing romantic setting. Staff always very attentive. Room was fab. Picked the hot tub and used it every day. Well worth it. Special mention to all the staff who were always very helpful and kind. Looking forward to coming back. If you want a nice quiet holiday with excellent service and great facilities you have to come here. You will not be disappointed
