Very Personal Hotel
Hotel is really nice, all facilities are up to Date, accomodation in stylish bungalows, soft beds, impressive SPA. Worth to express is the really warm relation and handling of the staff to the guests, anyhow if this is at the pool bar, the restaurant (thanks to Marrierta) the reception, the sport activities (credits to Thassos) they really take care about the guests.
We will meet again
H is for Hospitality!
I understand why this resort has received such good review - its the service!
When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, a drink and a wet towel. Every time you enter the dining room you are offered a drink of the local apricot juice and sometimes sparkling wine. And of course a smile. Each cocktail we ordered in the lounge and each cup of tea were delivered with a smile. So thank you very much the reception staff, the dining room staff and the bar man in the lounge for your smile, that is without doubt your secret ingredient.
In addition - a few points:
P - is for the beautiful swimming pools, with the little waterfalls and the deck chairs
O - is for the delicious Rhodos oranges which I had at breakfast every day. The fruit was plentiful and delicious.
R - is for the lovely clean room with the view of the sea
T - is for mint tea I drank every evening to live music in the lounge
R - is for the beautiful roses cultivated all over the premises. The grounds are beautifully looked after. Well done to the gardeners!
O - is for the ocean - the beautiful beach and bay
Y - is for yummy - the food was excellent. Always at least one fish offering at dinner as well as low calorie healthy and vegan options
A - is for attitude; I always felt that the staff treated me as the most important person!
L - is for loyalty! I can say that I am now a loyal customer and hope to be back before too long.
5 star zen experience
I stayed for few days last August and for the second time it was a brilliant experience. The food, the sea, the pool, the world class jazz live music and the people made my stay a unique experience. I will be back soon.
First Class and so Relaxing
Well where do I start with this fantastic hotel, we arrived at the hotel on the 14th October for an 11 night stay and although the flight was delayed we arrived at the hotel and our first impressions outside where very good and this continued into the hotel and for the full duration of our stay, we were greeted in reception and given a drink, little cake, and a cool flannel which was very much appropriated after such a long day travelling.
After checking in we were taken to our room on a golf cart and although it was the early hours of the morning the porter took time to explain the different areas of the hotel and the restaurants which we could eat at, we arrived in our room and we had opted for one of the rooms with a jacuzzi outside and the room itself was very clean and a good size with views of the ocean.
The next morning we went to the buffet restaurant for breakfast and the choice was vast, the same could be said of an evening, there was so much choice you could not have failed to find anything to eat weather you want to stick with something that you know or try something completely different the food was amazing and the maitre
'd "Mr George" was so attentive always checking his staff and the quality of the food but always had the time to speak to us daily and tell us the odd joke a very nice man as were all the waiting staff and to be honest all the staff in the whole hotel.
The pool areas were very clean and plenty of loungers and fresh towels daily that could be collected from the hut next to the large pool where the a la carte restaurant was located and lunch time pool restaurant that also had a great selection of food to eat, the pool itself was freezing cold and would benefit from a heater and I think more people may have used it should it have been warmer, the sea is warmer than the pool however its nice and clean and the cocktails from the poolside bar tasted great.
The spa facilities were also very good and lots of choice for treatments, if you are going to book something keep an eye on the notice board in the hotel as they have a daily special that give a discount on the brochure price.
To sum up the hotel, great hotel, great staff, great service, great food, a truly great place to relax and chill out, the greek people are lovely and all the staff in the hotel are so helpful and go out of their way to help you.
We cant wait to re-book to go back to this hotel and don't have a bad word to say.
Relaxing & peaceful
First time at this hotel and its just what we wanted quite and relaxing didn't have the worry of getting up early to put your towel on the sun loungers, poolside service was awesome too, food was nice staff friendly, housekeeping tho needed to be looked at weren't that impressed with there service in our room, but the rooms were clean but didn't get clean bedding all week but this only minor issue. (Plus I am too fussy on lol)
Will definitely go back one day.
Another Fabulous Holiday!!!
Thank you again to the staff of this wonderful hotel I can’t praise enough our fourth year back and it’s just keeps getting better! We so look forward to this holiday, it ticks all the boxes for us, small, quiet adult only right on the beach with fabulous views, lovely and unspoilt location no horrible high rises here and you don’t need a map to find your way around! lovely rooms, pools, delicious food every night with always a different theme and massive selection and you can always have a change and dine at the ‘The Ocean’ restaurant which is waiter service. Love the extra touches of pianist in the main dining room at dinner and the Jazz trio in the White Piano Bar upstairs. Also like the new addition of the poolside Cocktail Bar. It all makes for Fabulous, relaxing get away from it all holiday it really doesn’t get any better than this we have already booked again for next year! Tip pay to upgrade to a sea view room it’s worth it!
Fantastic staff and great food
I have pondered for a couple of weeks before writing this as I want it to be fair, our stay was great but not fantastic, so here goes:-
The good stuff - all the staff are amazing from the dining room staff, to the bar staff and the reception staff. They are super friendly, always have a smile and a hello for you and work really hard to ensure you have everything you need for a great time. The food is superb, so much variety and always delicious, breakfast is wonderful and the buffet selection for lunch and evening meal are extensive and super quality. The hotel is very well equipped and clean, the grounds are very well maintained and the location is great for exploring the island. We were originally half board but upgraded to all inclusive (50 euros per person per day). The all inclusive option is great as the cocktails and food are so delicious and you can choose anything with a crown on the menus plus all of the buffet food. The bed was super comfortable, I usually get backache on a different bed but this was very comfortable and great for a refreshing night's sleep. The facilities, bar areas, pools are lovely, well kept and relaxing to be in, the pool staff work tirelessly to ensure you have food and drink, love the bowls of nibbles and the bar service on the beach area is an added bonus. The unlimited supply of towels at the pool side is great and means you can pack lighter. In short, if you are looking for a relaxing experience, great food and drink, sitting around the pool, reading a book or chilling this is definitely the place for you.
The not so good stuff - some of our requests were not well catered for, I asked for vegetarian plates in the room on arrival by email, twice before we arrived, and we still arrived to 2 plates of meat. We asked at reception for water for the room one evening, as we missed the water delivery, and it never arrived. The cleaning is slightly amiss as I stepped on 3 broken shards of glass on the bathroom floor, these were not from our stay so had not been cleaned up from previous occupants. Our room view was a large pampas grass and nothing more, so sitting out on the balcony was not pleasant as that was all there was to see. The plug socket surround in the room fell off constantly when it was used. Not all the buffet food was labelled up and it was not always obvious if it was meat or veggie, especially the pastries, could do with better labelling. The a la Carte restaurant had only one veggie choice which was a rather bland risotto so we ate at the buffet instead for the rest of the week.
In summary, this is a fantastic hotel and certainly lives up to the hype and reviews previously given, we just found ourselves being let down with some aspects of our room and the attention to detail with some of our requests which left us a little disappointed and which is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5.
Best hotel ever!!!
Me and my partner have just come back from an amazing romantic break. I have got to say this hotel is beautiful and all staff are so helpful and lovely.
Reading the reviews about the staff not being polite is rubbish, there is a language barrier (which is to be expected) but they do try to understand what you need /want. If your friendly to them they will be friendly back - a lot of the people staying at this hotel are actually rude and moan at every little thing.
The food was very tasty and for someone who does not eat meat abroad I enjoyed the chicken and beef and not worried about being poorly as every thing is very clean and cooked to perfection.
Thank you so much for making this a holiday to remember and already missing this place!
We will 100% be back ❤❤❤❤❤❤
First class service
We stayed in a suite (901), it was an amazing with king four poster bed, jacuzzi bath, large lounge area with outside terrace with private pool and sun loungers with view of beach. We booked this holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we felt it was everything we had read and seen online but that bit extra. The hotel is modern and stylish and kept spotless clean. The staff are amazing, they really make you feel special and it feels like they are a team that get on and actually enjoy their work, nothing is a problem and gueine smiles all round. We were full inclusive and I’m pleased we did this as the meal options and standard were exceptional, there is good choice for everyone. I think we counted 26 dessert options one night, not to mention the number of main meal options (Thai/Chinese is the best night) we did try the oceans restaurant one evening which was also good. Great variety of drinks and cocktails (the crown identifies the all inclusive options on menus) the bar staff are great with their service you never sit for long without being served and they remembered our farouite drinks! The DJ that plays on certain evenings by the pool, is worth going too trust me you will dance. The spa is good had one treatment during stay only as weather so great. We couldn’t fault this hotel in anyway, hats off to all the staff and managers as you truly run an exceptionally fabulous hotel which makes holidays memorable for people like us
From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel, we 've clearly seen the built environment of a luxury hotel combining the 5 stars comforts with serenity and beautiful architecture. It's clear the staff's effort to make us feel really comfortable. The hotel is ideal for relaxing and luxurious holidays. Impression for us the main restaurant that meets the standards of the best and most expensive restaurants can be found worldwide. Dinner is excellent and the quality of food at the highest levels. The variety of food on the boufet is incredible and the discreet lighting creates a romantic atmosphere. The presence of the live and distinctive piano in every dinner completes the sense of luxury. The pianist is excellent, plays gently and his repertoire varies in every dinner. The staff are cheerful and always ready to serve you. Overall, I highly recommend Sentido Port Royal as it has met our expectations.
The island is geographically located between Karpathos and Kos and it is, along Santorini and Mykonos, among the most popular Greek islands. Rhodes, situated in the south-eastern Aegean Sea, is the capital of the Dodecanese prefecture and has a population of approximately 115,000.
There are many reasons why Rhodes is one of the most popular resorts in the Mediterranean: crystal clear seas, beautiful parks, leisure facilities, the bright sun and the warm hospitality of the islanders themselves. A drive around the island will bring you to magnificent beaches, impressive sightseeing and picturesque villages.
Apart from this sightseeing, the island has many beaches worth to visit, such as Tsambika, Ladiko, Kallithea, Saint Paul’s Bay, and others. Rhodes has been famous since antiquity as the site of Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
