Apologies for the late review. We stayed at this beautiful hotel in June 2018. What a haven! Beautiful setting, great food and the comfiest sunbeds ever! The staff are amazing, with special thanks to Kristina,Simos and Vlad... I will never have a nicer margarita by the pool. We have booked to come back in September - can't wait!

relaxing two weeks

we stayed in Room 204 about halfway up the much mentioned steps; but certainly worth the effort every day for the beautiful views over the island. Our room was spacious, well kept and clean, and we are grateful to all the staff for making our stay most relaxing. This is a quiet hotel in September and we chose to use the local beaches each day using the bus stop a few minutes away to travel around the island, although it was always nice to get back for the late afternoon sun around the pool. A good chill out place.

Breakfast every day was lovely with a wide variety of cooked options, yogurt and fruit, The staff were friendly and provided excellent service . Thank you

Lovely

We were so looking forward to staying in the Aegean Suites after reading all the fantastic reviews and have to say that it lived up to all expectations.
Our suite itself was perfect, clean comfortable, plenty of room.
Views superb, just across the road from a quiet sandy beach. 8 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella.
Breakfast was different, buffet style for breads and cereals and then lots of different choices from a menu which was cooked to order. Omelettes with your choice of filling (try having FETA cheese in one ) eggs cooked to your choice, bacon, mushrooms. Pancakes with a variety of sweet and savoury toppings and lovely thick creamy greek yoghurt with fresh fruit or dried fruit and honey.
Can't comment on dinner as we always ate out but drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and the house wine was superb.
We couldn't fault the staff they were all pleasant, polite and eager to help with anything.
We can't wait to go back , we had such a perfect, relaxing holiday on a delightful island.

Lovely week in Skiathos, Aegean suites Hotel.

Really enjoyed staying here. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and tended to our every need and preferences going above and beyond their roles. Accommodation very clean and spacious, we had two terraces overlooking the bay. The hotel has a lot of steps but a ramp takes you halfway up which takes out about a third of the steps to and from apartments.
Food was excellant although portions a bit large for us and would have loved to see more local dishes. Home made brioche rolls each night lovely.
Walking distance to Skiathos town but buses or taxis available easily for those with mobility problems.
Would definitely stay again. My mother's favourite on the staff was Vladimir, a delightful trainee but we should also mention Simon, Christina and Rivia who totally made our stay fabulous.

Perfect stay

On arriving at the Aegean suites there isn’t much to see . A concrete drive leads up to some stairs( more of them later) and soon you are in reception. Straight away we knew we were in for a good holiday . The receptionist was charming , offered us a drink and we instantly started to unwind in the airy tastefully decorated lounge. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean with good interior design and have everything you need.
The climb to to the rooms is a bit of a workout but the views are absolutely stunning and you can have an extra pastry at breakfast knowing you will have worked off the calories by the time you get back to your room!
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice on the cooked menu and plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and other alternatives, served by the lovey Kristina and Vladimir.
The pool area was lovely with comfortable loungers and plenty of shade. The bar provides casual snacks and drinks during the day and cocktails in the evening. Simos is such a lovey guy and was always there if we wanted a bottle of water by the pool, cocktail before going out or night cap when arriving back .
The staff at the Aegean really do go the extra mile and are a credit to the hotel.
The beach is stunning and just across the road with bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The busier town is a 15 min walk away or short drive .
This was our first time in Greece and thanks to the welcoming staff and excellent facilities at the Aegean suites we will be sure to return.

A hotel that never lets you down

Fourth stay at this wonder hotel. I can honestly say I absolutely love this place.
The rooms, the views, the staff, the breakfast, the housekeeping - all to die for.
Yes, the stairs are a little hairy and hard going - but when you walk out on to your balcony and see the view, you remember why it was worth the trek.
It is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Ideal for walking into town. Just across the road from Megali Amos beach and its tavernas. Bus stops 2 mins away to take you in any direction. Supermarket 2 mins away. There is nothing to dislike
Every time I leave this place I come away feeling totally relaxed and chilled. Can't wait to return.

Superb ! Thank you.

The overwhelming number of 5 star reviews of this superb, adult only, boutique hotel, tells you all you need to know about the Aegean Suites.
Everything you read from other travellers about the quality of service, rooms, food, location, pool, staff etc is 100% correct, and the consistency of their performance cannot be denied.
Christina, Simos, Yannis, the luggage dude et al are all delightful, helpful, smiley, happy people, and if Vladimir ( the trainee at time of our visit ) doesn't end up as the manager one of these days, then I'd be amazed !
There is really nothing more to add than has been said by dozens of previous reviewers. The staff, location , food etc cannot be faulted so long as you are reasonably fit, not on a tight budget, and don't seek loud music and pool parties !
The most I can come up with by way of criticism is that the flavour of crisps given out for free with each drink bought at the pool bar could be varied from just plain, and the tea bags in the room could be given for free rather than charged at 50 cents per bag after the initial 5 free ones are gone. That is the full extent of ' fault ' that I could find and to be honest, does it really matter ? No, of course it doesn't !
I have visited several Greek islands and stayed in numerous holiday hotels. Skiathos is my favourite by far, and I cannot recall any hotel that was better than the Aegean Suites. Brilliant all-round !

Luxury at its best

I spent 5 days at this hotel in June and thought it was amazing. The staff could not do enough to please. The waiter found out that my friend had many allergies and went out of his way to find food to suit as did all the staff. We stayed B & B and can only say that I have never had better hot freshly made to order breakfast anywhere. I cannot believe anyone can find fault with anything. Rooms cleaned daily. Fluffy white towels fresh every day. Rooms big and luxurious. Beds very comfy. Amazing views. Sun beds and parasols top quality. I would highly recommend this hotel.

SEVENTY FIVE STEPS TO HEAVEN!

From the speed of getting through the airport at Skiathos,to the extremely short taxi ride to the hotel,I thought to myself, this can't get any better to the start of a holiday!....BUT OH YES IT CAN!
We arrived just after dusk, and were greeted by the porter and the manager.
Check in was brisk and our luggage was already in our room when we got to it!....quite rare nowadays, but to say that the porter had no lift, but 75 steps to negotiate with 60 kilos of luggage was some achievement to say the least.
The suite was wonderful! We had to wait until the morning to see the fabulous view of the Aegean Sea and the island of Skopelos(Mama Mia fame) in the distance.
We ate at the hotel on our first night,Greek themed but excellent.
We would have eaten there more often, however their menu is a little overpriced, considering the competition thats on "their doorstep".As a restauranteur myself I would highly recommend that they look into this.
Breakfasts were also outstanding, with Christina on hand each morning.......does she ever get a day off!!!!?
Simos ran the bar and he always had a smile on his face!
Yes we would return, however I do feel they need to look into a way to entice guests to have dinner, rather than wondering out.
