First class treatment
We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel for our wedding anniversary, and we had a lovely time.
The hotel is in an excellent location: right on the beach front and far enough away from the ‘wild’ area.
The interior of the hotel is stylish, modern and clean. We stayed in an economy room and it was perfectly pleasant. We still had a side sea view! I loved the colour changing lamp in the room too.
Rooms have a free fridge but would benefit from coffee/tea making facilities. There is a safe you can use too if you so desire.
The management brought us a complimentary bottle of Cava on the night of our anniversary. Staff were always friendly and helpful. They directed us to the bus stop which we used to visit Palma centre for €1.50 each and €5 for the airport.
The spa facilities are definitely worth a visit. We were the only ones in there which made it even better! If you book direct, you get access to the spa for free, otherwise it’s €8 each.
All in all, a fab visit in October.
We was meant to be staying in hotel med bay but due to accommodation issues we was moved to hotel negresco. Absolutely fantastic hotel, with lovely staff and food. Highly recommended for the price we paid.
We had a very pleasant stay. The staff, especially in the restaurant was very friendly. Amazing sea view, both from the hotel room and rooftop bar. Food for breakfast and dinner was delicious, meat was freshly cooked. We also used the spa and booked a massage which was very relaxing. Hotel is situated just by the beach. Even after check out we were able to take a shower and store our luggage as our flight was late in the evening.
We felt very welcomed. :-) I‘d definitely book that hotel again!!!
Definitely worth its 4 stars - A Wonderful Stay
Just returned for a weeks holiday on my own to relax from work. I had an amazing and relaxing time at Hotel Negresco and exploring Palma and the surrounding area. A lot of effort goes into making sure the hotel provides the best of what it can offer. The hotel itself is a lot smaller than all the others on the strip but stands out as one of the newest, smartest and cleanest. Amenities were all new, clean and well designed.
Although the pool area and rooms were a little on the small side everything was of the highest quality given the reasonable price. The views were stunning. I had a double panoramic sea view room on the fifth floor and it was awesome. The rooftop pool has outstanding views of the whole bay and all bar staff were friendly and fun, especially Manu, Maria, Laura and Lorena who I spent a lot of time chatting to.
It’s a bit far from central Palma but nice as it’s calm and away from too many drunken 18 year old Germans. That said if you are an 18 year old drunken German wanting to party every night it’s probably not the best hotel for you. The adults only thig is a brilliant idea and should never be changed. So much more relaxing, quiet and tidy. I had never chosen this option and will always do so in the future wherever possible. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. I took only bed and breakfast but ate dinner there twice and often in the pool bar which was very nice. I could say a lot more but don’t have the time. All in all a top quality hotel where a lot of effort goes into making it a great choice. Keep up the good work
Lovely 3 day relaxing break
Amazing views, fantastic roof top bar, really comfy beds, amazing breakfast. Lovely pool & nice cocktails. Best hotel I have stayed in. Spa was great too & only €8. Very relaxing break for my sister's 49th birthday without any children!
Sunset, rooftop, whirlpool.
Clean rooms with sea view. Very good breakfast buffet with all the heart (or the tummy) wants. You just have to cross the pedestrian zone to step on the beach. The rooftop with its whirlpool is just amazing. Still impressed by the view.
Since the hotel has a higher price I was assuming that everything a normal hotel offers will be included here of course. But it isn't. You have to pay extra to use the spa and wellness area (8€ per day/person) and to use the safe in your room (3€ per day). That is just outrageous.
Great Hotel in Fantastic Location
Have stayed here on three occasions for short breaks, wish we could stay longer. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Perfect for a short getaway or longer holiday.
Good breakfast and fantastic room with private terrace overlooking the bay.
Easy journey from airport, about 16 euros in a taxi each way. Buffet dinner in hotel not my thing, but plenty of restaurants nearby or short taxi or bus ride into Palma. Good selection of food for lunch to enjoy on the terrace.
Looking forward to staying again in September.
Mallorca is an island of contrasts. Considered by many as one of the most beautiful places in Spain, the island is a place where to get lost and live a unique experience. The 550 kilometres of coastline is home to everything from long beaches of white and ochre sand in the south-east, with full amenities and services, to the hidden coves in the north, marvellous beauty spots for the more adventurous visitor.
The island is rich in culture and activities, so you won’t be short of things to see and do while you are here. There are many different international festivals of classical music, jazz, pop, and rock. All this and more can be experienced with a visit to one of many cultural events.
Activities like crazy golf, tree top adventure, paintballing and go-karting are some of the most popular. Perhaps you would be tempted by with some rock climbing, coasteering or mountain biking.
Spending one or two days discovering Palma de Mallorca is a must when visiting Mallorca. You can also go on a tour of a distinctive City Sightseeing open-top bus, which gives you a great overview of Mallorca’s capital.
With 262 beaches around the island, Mallorca is a paradise for the sun, sand, and sea lover. Long sandy beaches can be found on all the coasts except for the west, which is dominated by cliffs and rocky coves. For pretty sandy coves with sparkling seas, head to the east coast.
Stroll around one of Mallorca’s beautiful small villages and you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Try the legendary towns of Deià and Valldemossa, hidden in the hills of the Tramuntana mountain. Sóller has amazing architectural gems and a rich history.
