To begin with I have to add that the previous reviews just do not give this hotel enough justice…
The hotel itself is in a quiet and beautiful location overlooking the ocean and a small authentic white and blue church. It is quite simply stunning. First impression’s this is an extremely clean, modern and such a tasteful establishment.
They have thought of everything in this hotel and I could tell we were going to have the best week’s holiday from the second we were greeted by the receptionist. We were shown to our rooms and given an envelope which included a 15 min free massage (which was incredible by the way) and more information on the hotel itself. The hotel is beautiful, it has the most gorgeous pool, more than enough sun beds for everyone ( this is the first hotel I have never had to rush to get a sun lounger on a morning) – there are bean bags scattered around the pool to lounge and relax on. The bliss bar is something else, it’s so gorgeous and the working there two are so lovely.
The room was perfect, it had everything you could ask for and more. Not only that but we arrived late and the staff had arranged to have food in our room for our arrival which was an amazing touch. The room even comes with a Nespresso machine, free mini bar, toiletries and dressing gowns and slippers. These are the little touches that make this place a 5 star hotel.
The food is incredible too – there is so much choice, especially for breakfast, the coffee is fantastic, there is a station where you can have fresh eggs or omelettes and abundance of different fruits and cereals. It literally has everything you could ask for.
The hotel runs different events too, which are all very tasteful. The first day we were there ( Wednesday) there as a “pool party” from 1pm to 5pm and this consisted of a live saxophone, a man on bongo drums and a live DJ playing chilled out reggae and cover songs. It was one of the highlights of the holiday. Imagine laying in the sun with bar service bringing you drinks whilst this is playing. It was an experience like no other. So so good.
The staff are the real heart of this hotel and I mean ALL OF THEM. From the security guard to the bar staff, the cleaners to the receptionist, the girls in the spa and the guest relation staff are AMAZING. Every single one of them at any point have a smile and no matter what I asked the answer was always “yes of course”. They go over and above and the staff are what make this hotel better than the rest. They are the friendliest hard working staff that are an absolute delight. They made our holiday so perfect. I have to add here Rasti, the Slovakian waiter was really special. He greeted us morning and evening with the same respect, so attentive and delivered phenomenally. Thank you for that. ( All the staff here are superb though).
We had two excursions so were out earlier than usual for these two separate days. Without asking the staff had arranged for us to have a packed lunch and breakfast brought to our room the night before. So when we got back from the pool in the evening, there it was ready for us to eat in the morning or during the excursions.
I cannot rave about the staff enough because they are the life blood of this hotel.
We even had on the last day of our holiday when we were packing our bags the cleaner knock on our door, again with a huge smile on her face but this time she was holding a tray with chocolates on. She came to ask if all the cleaning in the week had been to standard and actually if needed our room cleaning right now.
The staff here are outstanding, really they are.
We came back to the room one day to find a lovely note from the staff in guest relations thanking us for our stay and that it was “lovely to have us at the hotel”. This came alongside a bowl of fruit and a bottle of red wine… I mean how amazing is that! Theodora and Eleni are amazing. They are so helpful and genuine and treat you with such respect, always smiling! Loved these two!
We genuinely miss been there and all of the staff. They have made this holiday our favourite to date and we cannot wait to go back. As I said, the previous reviews do not do this hotel enough justice… it is fantastic and I urge everybody to go.
