Wonderful week spent here.

5/5 - September, 2018 Tripadvisor.com

The staff are all friendly helpful and efficient.
Some reviews talk about noise but I only heard noise one night and it was a late arrival of quite a few people so doors banging a lot as each room was entered. Nothing hotel could do about that one.
Great food at breakfast and dinner. Lots of choice.
So handy for the boats and buses, just across the road. Nice market 2 days a week just opposite hotel. Amazing vegetables, not too many stalls.
Beach just a few steps away. Lovely for swimming. 2 beds and a brolly 12.50 euros.
Little pool in hotel grounds. Great if like me you do not want to go out of your depth. Not people using all day long ,just a nice little area for a dip.
Hotel has a colonial feel but with a modern twist. Loved it.
Oh even kettle in your room.

Very friendly hotel

Just spent 5 enjoyable nights at this very comfortable hotel. All the staff are very friendly and most helpful, special thanks to Sara on reception. Highly recommend this hotel for the excellent food and great location.

Lovely hotel in a great position.

We stayed for a week in July and enjoyed our holiday. The staff are brilliant, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced either at home or abroad. The variety was amazing, The pool is tiny with only a handful of sun loungers and while we were there was often taken over by local youths (not good in a tiny pool in an adults only hotel). Hotel is literally across the road from a lovely beach so not much of a problem for us. Room was lovely BUT very noisy from the road below and all the hotel air conditioning units. Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and we would definitely return.

Will definitely come again!

Just back from a 4 night break at the THB Felip. Stayed in the annex behind the hotel which has been recently renovated to a great standard. The room had everything we needed including hairdryer, fridge, safe an air con. The whole experience was brilliant. Stayed half board which was well worth it. Breakfast and evening meal excellent. There was a food station where different foods were cooked fresh everyday. All the staff greeted you with a smile and were very helpful. Location is fantastic hotel is yards from a picturesque beach cove and meals are served overlooking this beautiful view. Hard to say anything negative about this hotel. Porto cristo is a quiet small harbour town with plenty of places to eat and drink, perfect for a relaxing break.

Lovely stay

I had never been to Mallorca before and I decided to choose a hotel in a quiet area. Porto Cristo is a very picturesque place, and the walks are very pleasant and locals are very helpful. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and friendly. (Juana, Sergio. Lorenzo. Salvatore, Mohammed). The reception staff were very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions and always greeted you with a smile. The hotel was very clean although could do with some more updating. But the beds and pillows are very comfortable, even have English channels on the TV. Toiletries are supplied and a hairdryer. Air conditioning worked well not too noisy. WIFI worked in all parts of the hotel. Spa and gym are clean and great to use. We had half board and the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious with lots of variety. The buses were easy to use and close by. I am glad to have picked this hotel for my first stay in Mallorca.

Enjoyable stay

Great location across from the beach. Staff were good and the food was varied and tasty served in a smart dining area. My opinion would be that it is a bit of a stretch to say it was 4 stars though (which also increases the tourist tax). I thought the room was a little bit cramped and could do with some upgrading although I found the bed to be comfortable and I slept well during my stay. The pool area wasn’t very inviting but with that beach just across the road not really a problem to me. The air conditioning may struggle in the hottest months and charging extra for the use of the room safe as well as a key deposit was a bit mean. The hotel did have an old world charm about it and overall more pluses than minuses and I enjoyed my stay in Porto Cristo and would go back again.

Great week at this really welcoming hotel in Porto Cristo!

Great little hotel in the wonderful small and relatively quiet seaside town of Porto Cristo. Fantastic staff, delicious food and unbeatable location- just meters from the beach. Ideal venue for a quiet and relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of larger resorts. Plenty of places to walk, to sit and watch the world go by and many interesting local attractions including the enchanting Caves of Drach. We enjoyed a day's visit to Cala Bona and Cala Millor travelling via the glass-bottomed cat from the harbour. Only used the the Spa once as the weather was ideal. Feel refreshed and really relaxed after a wonderful week at the THB Felip.

Lovely Hotel with great staff & food

4/5 - April, 2018 Tripadvisor.com

The staff who welcomed us to THB Felip were very thorough in their intro procedures for us.

We are staying in a good sized modern, clean room (442) in the annex behind the main hotel. Both my wife and I have slept very well here.

We have a half board arrangement- which suits us fine, because we like to go out exploring during the day.

Food is served in either a large conservatory in the main hotel with fine views across the harbour - or the tasteful modern dining room, which features a “comma” shaped island in the centre with other curved food areas around the sides. This arrangement could be a good way of easing congestion at busy times, whilst being aesthetically pleasing to look at.
There has been a diverse selection of tempting foods (much of it changing daily) for all our meals. I am vegetarian, but have always found enough for at least 3 courses. The only slight winge is that sometimes the food is not piping hot. The salads and desserts, however, look (& taste!) particularly delicious. A good selection of nuts & seeds is also available. The staff have all been friendly & are always willing to sort out the odd request. Carnivores & fish eaters are also well catered for.

Our room only had one chair, but when we requested an extra seat it was brought up that same afternoon.

Another lovely stay

Just returned from a weekend break at Hotel Felip. Another lovely stay at this gem of a hotel. Staff were all friendly and special thanks to Manager Irma who goes out of her way to make her guests welcome. We have stayed many times and always have a good experience. We love having a drink on the outside terrace. This is one of the reasons why we return. It has a great view of sea and feeling of old fashioned elegance that is rare to find these days. A glass of Cava after breakfast on the terrace is always a treat and a nice way to start the day. We had two sea views rooms and highly recommend them. A charming, well managed hotel.

Beautiful hotel

My husband and I stayed here for a week last September and were very impressed. We stayed in a room out the back, although there was no sea view as such it didn't deter from our stay. The rooms were lovely and the facilities were great. We used the indoor pool a few times and there was also an outside pool but we didn't manage to use it. Breakfast was amazing with everything available that you could think of and the staff were lovely. Would definately stay again.

Another lovely holiday

Yet another great week, our 5th visit. Thank you Irma and staff (old and new) as usual could not fault anything. Rooms very clean, food excellent and staff couldn't be more helpful. We always enjoy our week with you, it feels like a real home from home! Thank you all once again and hope to see you next year. Margaret and David.

second visit

4/5 - August, 2017 Tripadvisor.com

It seems that we are now starting our year with a stint in this hotel! We again had spent 10 days at the beginning of January 2017. We were initially put off by withdrawal of all inclusive option and were able to book only half-board. However, we knew that there are plenty of shops near by including a supermarket with a mini park and a cute orange tree! One can top up with snacks and alcohol to supplement the half board without any trouble. We had a room at the top floor in the corner. The sunshine was there to be enjoyed morning till evening while one could watch the sea and life quietly go by in the street right in front of the hotel. I expect it will be busier in summer. There were some paint work going on but did not cause much trouble. This hotel has grown on us and that is why we came here again. It feels homely and safe. There is a bus stop near by and that gives option of taking a bus to near by town and even to Palma. The spa was great and cosy. My only suggestion will be to include wine or water with dinner and to pay for those separately impairs the experience. They can even offer all inclusive options to returning guests or selected guests or if one books a sea view room ( given that they are significantly costlier!), if they do not want to encourage a drinking party or noisy, drunken groups of travelers. The hotel also run a restaurant type service from the front for general public. It was not clear if a guest in the hotel was welcome during midday and late afternoons to sit in the lounge or in the front outdoor terrace. That might be an issue for individuals in annexe or if not in rooms with a sea view. We mostly spend our time in the hotel looking out from the balcony unless we took us away from the hotel to walk or to travel. But we enjoyed the stay and Porto Cristo and this hotel have invaded our psyche! Happy holidays and special thanks to ever efficient Irma, running a tight ship!

A gem of a hotel

5/5 - August, 2017 Tripadvisor.com

I have just come back from a four night stay at this beautiful hotel. I arrived very late Friday night 11th Aug and was greeted with a smile from the lovely lady on reception. ( sorry I cant remember her name but please pass this message on to her )and also the offer of something to eat for which I was very grateful.

I could not fault the hotel at all. It is clean and tidy, beautiful decor and very helpful and obliging staff. The food is plentiful and there is a good choice. The location is wonderful as it is directly opposite the beach and in the centre of Porto Cristo.

I will certainly be returning to this hotel next year.
